Design Process

Building a web site can be a challenging concept. There are a multitude of
components that can be incorporated from visual design to database integration,
this also means that there is scope for things to go wrong. Too many web designers,
in particular the DIY designers, just do it without the forethought and planning.
In order to minimise the possibility of errors we initially design the process.
By planning the site at an early stage will allow for expansion, and modification.
During the planning we look specifically at the site structure, any technologies
required, and any brochures, flyers and other promotional material. Therefore any
artwork on your brochures and logos can be
used on your websites to portray the same identity on the web.
Design Steps
Business Identity
First we find your business identity this is very important. Information
about your company is gathered. This stage will allow us to get a feel of
what you do, what the site should look like and what type of content is
required.
Planning
Next we plan the site, we take the information gathered from you and
break down into smaller steps, these step will be converted into pages for
the website. The website will be built based on these steps.
Design
After getting an idea on what the content of the pages will be, the
design of each page will take place.
Construction
Construction of the site comes next. This is where the final product
starts to take shape in your eyes. The site is posted on our server and
you are
given the domain name so you can keep an eye on production.
This allows you, the customer to keep an eye on what is happening and helps us to save time in by preventing major mistakes.
Created here is faster, easier and more effective communication.
Implementation
The implementation step occurs when you are happy with the product.
Here we put the site up on the server of your choice and test the pages
there. Any errors found are promptly fixed and the site is polished up.
